I've decided to join the typeosphere. Also, the legal profession. I've been known to write fiction.

Kinda Missing the Point
So, apparently some company has developed a way for an author to sign an ebook. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like that's missing the whole idea of a signed book, at least a little. I read ebooks because they're convenient. I read a lot of them. I still like owning an actual copy of the book, especially if I'm a fan of the author. I don't see myself opening up an epub copy of The Eye of the World and saying "Yes, there's a copy of his signature, but it's a real copy." Doesn't really work for me. I'm not a Luddite, but maybe I'm missing something.
